After I watched the video about Justine Sacco, I realized that anyone can become famous in a sense over night. Whether they planned to or not, it can happen. The biggest feature that came to my mind was that celebrities often can't choose what they are famous for. A lot of times people can become instant celebrities for saying something very rude or surprising to other people, like Justine. Another common feature between celebrity culture and Justine is that it won't go away. Celebrities have one thing written about them in the tabloids and a lot of times if it catches people eye it'll be in magazines for weeks. Justine tweet was deleted by one of her friends but it was too late everyone already saw it. I think Justine and celebrity culture have the most similarities in the negative aspect of what can happen when you're a celebrity.
